In healthcare, education, and government, eSignatures often aren’t a one-and-done situation. A single form can require sign-off from multiple parties who are across departments, sometimes in person, and sometimes by someone entirely different than originally planned. That complexity can turn a simple workflow into a manual back-and-forth that defeats the purpose of automation.
Two new enhancements in Intellistack Streamline – Multiple In-Person Signers and Signature Reassignment – tackle this challenge head-on.
Real-World Scenario: Consent Forms Signed by Multiple People

Hand Off Signing Tasks with Signature Reassignment
Now, imagine an administrator assigned to sign a document realizes mid-process that it should actually be completed by their department lead. With Signature Reassignment, our built-in signature delegation capability, the signer can reassign their signing task to the appropriate person in just a few clicks. No manual rework or IT ticket needed.
It’s ideal for high-change environments like hospitals, HR departments, or school systems, where the originally assigned signer might be on leave, reassigned, or simply not the right person.

Once you click Reassign, a modal displays allowing you to enter an email address or phone number (or both!) where the signature request should be routed.

Why It Matters
These updates aren’t just about flexibility. They’re about eliminating blockers so workflows keep moving forward.
- Reduce Workflow Abandonment: In many CLMs, changing a signer means restarting the workflow or pausing to wait on admin help. Now users can hand off signing tasks themselves, keeping contracts moving when roles or responsibilities change..
- Ensure Compliance: Capture all required signatures securely, even in-person, without needing multiple sessions.
- Empower End-Users: Resolve routing issues without escalating to IT or admins.
If you’re automating sensitive or regulated processes, especially in industries like healthcare, finance, education, or government, these two features can keep workflows moving without sacrificing control or security.
